Ultracolor Plus is a precision grout designed for modern tiling demands, where speed, durability, and colour integrity matter equally. Fast-setting and shrinkage-compensated, it allows grouted surfaces to return to use in as little as three hours, without sacrificing finish or long-term performance.
Its cement-free formulation is built on a self-hydrating hydraulic binder that delivers consistent, uniform colour — free from efflorescence and resistant to UV exposure and weathering. The surface cures smooth and compact, repelling water while remaining easy to clean. Flexibility within the mix absorbs movement, reducing the risk of cracking across joints from 2 to 20 mm.
Two proprietary MAPEI technologies underpin its performance. BioBlock® Technology inhibits mould growth within the joint structure, while DropEffect® Technology reduces surface water absorption, keeping grout lines cleaner for longer. Together, they create a grout suited to demanding residential and commercial environments, including wet areas and exterior applications.
Available in a wide, architect-curated colour range, Ultracolor Plus gives designers control over contrast, continuity, and detail — with results that hold over time.
